“The next generation iPhone has reached the final testing stage (aka ‘AP’ stage [Thanks, Chronic!]) and is now being carried around by high level Apple and carrier executives,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac.

4. The line is behind us. Bought the iPhone 4 the first day it was available. Same with the iPad 2, and I owned the first gen. When iPad 3 arrives, I will buy that, too. It’s that simple…
5. Same same same. We have three iPhones, one white, all 32GB. I will get one iPhone 5 and make my wife and 16-y-o son ‘suffer’ with the old iPhones. The two little kids play with the iPhone 3G and the iPad and iPad 2… We are Apple to the core.
I sure hope so. That’s when my Verizon contract is up and I get my last shot at the “New Every Two” phone discount.

Your “new every two” is a $30 discount. I was in last week and talked to Verizon. I just came out of my contract and I have ’til the end of the month to pull the trigger on getting an iPhone 4 or wait until September.
It looks like I have until the end of the month to use the $30 discount and then it’s gone.
Using a 3G right now is achingly slow on iOS 4, so I can’t wait for this upgrade.
