RUMOR: Apple’s iPhone 5 in final testing, due in September

“The next generation iPhone has reached the final testing stage (aka ‘AP’ stage [Thanks, Chronic!]) and is now being carried around by high level Apple and carrier executives,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac.

“Although this has been assumed since the no-iPhone-at-WWDC-rumors broke, the current plan is for a September launch for the next-generation iPhone.

        1. 4. The line is behind us. Bought the iPhone 4 the first day it was available. Same with the iPad 2, and I owned the first gen. When iPad 3 arrives, I will buy that, too. It’s that simple…

        2. 5. Same same same. We have three iPhones, one white, all 32GB. I will get one iPhone 5 and make my wife and 16-y-o son ‘suffer’ with the old iPhones. The two little kids play with the iPhone 3G and the iPad and iPad 2… We are Apple to the core.

    1. Your “new every two” is a $30 discount. I was in last week and talked to Verizon. I just came out of my contract and I have ’til the end of the month to pull the trigger on getting an iPhone 4 or wait until September.

      It looks like I have until the end of the month to use the $30 discount and then it’s gone.
