Apple today released Security Update 2011-002 (Snow Leopard) and Security Update 2011-002 (Leopard – Server) which are each recommended for all users and improves the security of Mac OS X.
Previous security updates have been incorporated into this security update.
System Requirements for Security Update 2011-002 (Snow Leopard):
• Mac OS X 10.6.7
System Requirements for Security Update 2011-002 (Leopard Server):
• Mac OS X 10.5.8 Server
Security Update 2001-002 is available via Software Update and also as a standalone installer.

Although this MDN article only mentions Snow Leopard and Leopard SERVER, there is an equivalent security update for non-server Leopard as well.
And now Excel from Office X works. So I no longer have to use Excel from Office 2008, which is a cluster f*ck as far as the user interface goes.
Wow! That’s one hell of a security update! Way to go, Apple!

So, if we are staying with 10.6.6 to avoid the “using-OpenType-fonts-destroys-any-PDF-we-make” bug, we can’t get this security update? Really?
