“Apple won’t be attending this year’s Macworld event in San Francisco for the second year running,” Derek du Preez reports for Computing. “But the event is still expected to be a success, with the organisers claiming that there will be a 30 to 35 per cent increase in exhibitors compared with 2010.”
“One of the most popular draws of the event last year was the introduction of the Mobile Apps Showcase,” du Preez reports. “With Apple seeing its 10 billionth download this week it is likely this will continue to be a main attraction.”
