Seems like it would not be difficult to approximate the scale of the photos and measure the sq footage of the buildings. Wouldn’t have be too precise, since were talk about a factor of 2x — 250,000 vs 500,000.

OK, so do are people really that naive to think that Apple would conduct a nationwide search for a location, go into negotiations with local governmental authorities to get special deals and the site approval, and NOT have in its plans possible future expansion?!?
Come on people, Apple does not do anything without having planned five steps ahead of what’s happening now. That’s why Apple is so successful – it has plans and programs in place to achieve specific goals, and it follows those plans.
Microsoft is just the opposite now: it has no plan except keep making new versions of Windows and Office, and it changes direction as the winds of competition blow. Thus, Microsoft is declining and showing no leadership in the industry, while Apple is building and expanding.

@C1 & gypsy. Apple are building the opposite of a cryo center. Instead of freezing people until a cure is found, they intend to just barely vapourize people by lowering them towards the centre of the earth then gently bring them back up so that their bodies solidify without the disease or ailment.
