MacDailyNews Take: It’s snappy!
Certainly feels snappier. I think.
updated mine about 20 mins ago, just before telling MDN it was live, was an absolute breeze as usual.
Feels way more normal on my 3G! Thanks Steve
Snaptastic!!!
18mins until download of 4.1 completes… must think of an onomatopoeia associated with snappiness
Hallelujah! (Sound effects)
The day of miracles has come!!!! (Sound effects)

oh please, please, please bring my 3G back into usable speed. It was beginning to feel like I was using a Windows phone.
Thank you Apple for the update to fix the update that broke my phone.
Update went well. As soon as it was complete I suddenly got 14 recorded messages from the last two weeks! AT&T!!!!!!
Hopefully I’ll get my messages from now on. Now if I could just get my microcell to stop blinking….
Update went quite smoothly. Improved 3G performance.
Cool – sometime in the future – approximately 15 minutes from now – Apple is going to be releasing iOS 4.1.

Can’t wait for the future to be now! I am hoping the update fixes (or partially fixes) the slow down on an iPhone 3G.
Cheers.
Updated my iPhone 4 like a breeze. Extra snappy.
Are there any current games that work with GameCenter?
Snappiness is reach snap crackle pop levels.
Well, gamecenter doesn’t have any games listed… am I missing something?
In other news; the HDR camera is fawesome!
Pocket tanks works great
Got it, and not a moment too soon!
Some jerkoff stole my handle in Open Feint, so I jumped on GameCenter ASAP so it wouldn’t happen again!
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!!
Definitely helped my 3G. Keyboard is not as sluggish as before. Facebook app and MDN app works much better. I’ll have to type with it more but from what I can tell so far works much much better. I do have spotlight disabled not sure how it will work with it on although I really don’t need it.
Snap-o-licious® goodness, through and through.
I just went on Apple site iOS 4.1 is not there?
@bon: The fix for your phone has been known for two months! You simply have to do a hard shut down of your phone.
Yea, real snappy. 45 minuets and counting…..
iPhone 4 updated just fine, iPod Touch 2nd Gen updated just fine… but 3rd Gen iPod still says that there isn’t an update past 4.0.2 ~.~
Anyone else getting this?
Curiously, any feedback from iPhone 3G users? My wife has a 3G and has all but stopped using it because 4.0 update made the phone crawl!
I’d love to hear from 3G owners.
