In the Portland area The Macpac has been doing this for quite some time now. They also offer iphone repair. The techs do a wonderful job and the people are friendly. Everyone I know wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Seems like 9 out of 10 folks had a positive experience with this company.
Not making a case either way – it’s just that sometimes our own view of reality is often colored by experience, and exaggerated online.
Seems a bit early to be announcing an iPad trade-in program.
I guess someone with a WiFi-only iPad may want to get one with 3G+WiFi. What a great deal for PowerMax if there are a lot of such people who don’t want to sell that iPad on their own… PowerMax gives you store credit for your lightly used iPad (that’s still under warranty), sells it to someone else for probably at least 80% of the regular “new” price, then you use that store credit toward buying another new (more expensive) iPad from PowerMax.
These guys are great. I have traded-in 4 MacBooks and MacBook Pros over the last 6 years. Always gave me a reasonable price. And I didn’t have to hassle with trying to sell it to a 3rd party.
PS: I have some other good APPS from aneesoft want to recommend. Maybe someone will like it.
