Ronald Reagan’s son blasts Apple email as ‘liberal’; starts ‘first conservative email provider’

Michael Reagan, the son of former American president Ronald Reagan, has announced “the very first conservative email provider” which is named “Reagan Email.”

Reagan has posted the following open letter on his website, Reagan.com. Here it is, verbatim:

Hello, I am Michael Reagan, eldest son of President Ronald Reagan and like you I am deeply concerned about the future of our country.

Unfortunately we have another problem. People who believe in true Reagan Conservative Values are unwittingly supporting the Obama, Pelosi and Reid liberal agenda! What do I mean? Well, every time you use your email from companies like Google, AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Apple and others, you are helping the liberals. These companies are, and will continue, to be huge supporters financially and with technology of those that are hurting our country.

Is that where you want your money to go? I didn’t so I changed things. I came up with the very first conservative email service provider. You now can put your name next to the name of the Greatest Conservative of all, my father Ronald Reagan.

Click through right now for YourName@Reagan.com.

When you purchase your email address @Reagan.com you are supporting truly conservative causes and the proceeds from this conservative initiative will help me promote true Reagan values to win back our country in November and in 2012.

I will continue to carry the Reagan Torch but I need your help. Sign up today for your very own conservative email address @Reagan.com and when you do this before July 31st (offer extended until August 3, 2010) I will send you as a special gift a copy of the “Tear Down This Wall” speech DVD absolutely free.

God Bless America,

Michael Reagan

  1. Maybe I’m thick, but I am having a hard time seeing what is wrong or funny about this. I mean, no matter what our political persuasion, we should be inviting this kind of exercise of freedom no matter how some may feel it is… Lame or misguided (I am not necessarily one of those). If progressives deem themselves tolerant then they should act like it. Am I missing something?

  2. WTF lmfao this is just tooo funny Apple goes and supported the gay marriage thing in cali and now they are supper liberal or maybe its because apple execs refuse to follow tradition and like to wear Jeans to executive meetings lol i cant take this serious he should marry palin

  3. I don’t seem to get how this is Mac news. It seems more like a paid advertisement.

I use this ap for Apple & technology news. Not politics!

Please don’t ruin it by making this a political news blog! Liberals, Consevatives? Not what I’m into!!!

    Thank You!!!

  4. @ american joe
” if progressives deem themselves tolerant then they should act like it” sure if the cons werent trying to turn everything back to the “great way they used to be” then what would be the point of progressing forward when u have a group tryin g to go backwards

  5. I can support true conservatism to some degree (which almost none of the current Republican party currently follows), but wow that was like reading a recruitment pamphlet for Scientology or some other wacko cult.

  6. Am I missing something here?

I thought Ronnie Jr. was part of the Liberal Media. I seem to recall most of the reporting and interviews that I saw him doing were criticisms of Conservatives, and pals of his father.

Is this some kind of a hoax?
