Actually, industrial strength Velcro doesn’t loosen up over time… because the Velcro loops are completely closed as opposed to open. You can buy industrial strength Velcro fr an earthquake safety place like qsafety.com
As a physician, I would highly NOT recommend placing an iPad over the airbag area in your car. Nothing you want less than a piece of glass an metal flying towards your head during an accident. That said, how about a case with magnets on the back? “The refrigerator iPad”
I used Velcro on my original iPod to secure it to my car’s dash.
This isn’t a new idea, and I’m sure it’s already been done by millions.
