  1. I love my iPad, but I’m disappointed in iWorks for iPad. It’s completely unacceptable to have the formatting stripped from existing documents. I know it’s a first gen product, but going from a Mac to portable devices has to be easy for users.

  2. Agreed on the changes in the toolbar in pages, makes it a lot more usable. Now, if they could just get Keynote to show the slide you’re using and the upcoming slide when you’re connected to an external projector, instead of just a slide number, that would be nice.

  3. @Jim – TIV… I have the iDisk app (both on my iPhone and my iPad). It was definitely a long time coming from Apple to say the least (as a long time MobileMe user). But, I’m wondering if you can tell me an EASY way to be able to open up these documents from within my Numbers app? I really don’t want to have to email the file to myself… or copy it via iTunes. Maybe I’m missing something… (wouldn’t be the first time).

  4. OK, so the updates are released, but how long will it take for them to receive App Store approval so we can actually download them?

  5. I didn’t realize some of these features were missing! Glad they will be getting them in there before my wife gets her hands on the v2.0 we’re planning on buying. Wonder what else is not-yet!
jomie899 … no, not “free”. I believe each costs $9.99 or so, which is pretty close. They are not designed to be Word, Excel or PowerPoint “killers” so much as lite alternatives for when you are on the road and need to view, possibly edit, files you brought along or grabbed from the cloud.
    Yeah … they will kill the choices on the netbooks. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
