  1. As usual, it takes weeks to get to the bottom of all Apples new announcements or products…and then weeks to digest and realize them.

    Hello…Is there anyone listening ?

Innovate or die- no free lunches anymore.

  2. I have the developer sdk thing so I have had access to the betas over the past year and a half. This update is AMAZING. Everything I’ve ever wanted on my iPhone has all come tome life in 4.0

and when Apple does bring in new features, they are usually outstanding. Ex. Cut and paste on iPhone OS is brilliant. I’ve no doubt multi-tasking will be just as polished.

  4. I’m amazed at how powerful each major update has been. This one takes the cake though.

I wonder how easy it will be for people to use if their first iPhone is running 4.0? I guess some features won’t seem new, and some will go unnoticed until they accidentally do something and have a “wow” moment.

I will check out those printer apps – I had one recently, called Print Magic, and it worked but couldn’t print documents with formatting etc. Had to copy and paste Text, which it would print unformatted, and with all the German “Umlaute” ö ä ü as cryptic signs.

I would love to have the ability to print from the iPad, since I plan to get one for my wife, and she’d need to print docs from Pages, Mail and sometimes attached files.

However, thank you for the information…

  6. Yes, but will we finally be able to change an event’s Calendar once it’s created? My default calendar is Home, but I also enter events for Work and sometimes I forget to set the Calendar to “Work” and then I can’t change it (I have to delete the event and recreate it).

Let’s hope this has been fixed…

  7. Anyone know if we’ll finally be getting frikkin’ PLAYLIST FOLDERS with OS 4?

If we aren’t, I may have to wrap my head with duct tape to prevent a messy explosion. There’s no excuse for Apple treating its iPhone/touch users like this for the last four years. What the hell is the holdup?

  8. Ironically, when apple comes out with new features they are features that should have been there for a long time. Multitasking has been around for quite sometime with jailbroken iPhones, as is tethering among other things.

Anyone remember no cut and paste? Please…. Apple isnt the end all be all fan boys.
