“Foxconn’s component suppliers have said their [iPad component] supplies are on schedule,” Ninelu Tu and Joseph Tsai report for DigiTimes.

“Foxconn should be able to ship 600,000-700,000 iPads in March and one million units in April,” Tu and Tsai report. “As for whether Apple will delay the launch of iPad, the sources believe plans are unlikely to change.”

  1. How is the iPad going to be record setting fastest selling consumer electronic device to reach 1,000,000 units if they don’t have them ready to go? I know more people that are ready to buy this as it is released than I did for either iPhone release. On top of your typical 1st adopters there is an army of Apple converts that fell in love with a phone if you can imagine that. Then there is some considerable number of avid ebook readers that love their Kindle but have been waiting for the color kindle. Many of them will have no trouble switching platforms, it is the ereader they love and desire not so much the Kindle.

  2. Looks like Apple can’t deliver a hardware product in a timely manner to save their lives. Every hardware device either has shipping problems or insane hardware problems that never seem to go away (27″ iMacs). With all the problems Apple is dealing with why on earth would anyone go out an wait in line in hopes of getting one that either doesn’t exist or is broken? There are plenty of PC tablets, netbooks, and ebook readers that don’t have any of these problems and you can just pick them up at any store.

Here hopes the Apple Inc. lemmings get sick of waiting for broken products and purchase well designed hardware and software that integrates easily into the enterprise market. As PT Barnum said ” a sucker born every minute.”

Your last sentence described you perfectly. Anyone willingly accepting virus, malware, botnets and a kluged together OS is a sucker! Think different child.
