  1. I really want the 3G model, but I’m too impatient to wait even longer than I already have, so I’ll buy the wifi model and sell it on eBay for maybe $50-75 less than retail in a couple months. Small price to pay for being part of the new revolution!!!

  2. @Sarasota

But you WILL be able to!
It is already the case on the iPhone. I even have an internet radio app that will happily continue to play if I put the iPhone in standby, just like the iPod app. What is significant here is that the internet radio app is third party (I think it’s called

  3. I’ve never pre-ordered anything from Apple before, but I am definitely planning to pre-order an iPad. (I have however waited in line at 5am to get an iPhone.)

If anyone has pre-ordered something from Apple – like an iPhone – can you tell me if they will ship what’s available when it’s available? Or do they wait until everything you’ve ordered is available and send 1 shipment?

I am planning to order a keyboard dock, an extra standard dock, and the Apple case as well. I’m thinking I should order the iPad separately, then order all the accessories. I’d hate for Apple to delay shipping my iPad because they ran low on the keyboard docks, or cases.

  4. Whats the bet the UK pricing will be annoyingly high as usual, $500 in the US or just £500 in the UK………..!

For instance the base macbook is $999, but over here its £816, despite the exchange rate making it equal to £645!!!!!!!!!!
