Works here in Pittsburgh Steve as of 1:35 PM
got it at 10:31 PST
Ugh! There goes the so-called network.
Will this update unjailbreak our phones?
Downloaded fine here in Tallahassee, Florida. Having issues actually sending an MMS though.
Anyone know what the updated carrier setting is? I used an ipcc last week to bring me to 5.1, but before this some others were on 5.0.
Thoughts?
Will this undo the hack that allows users to do tethering? I’m not giving that up for MMS….
Works for me here in Framingham, MA. YAY!
About time! No more “viewmymessage.com” BS. Works just fine out on the west coast.
I have a little tear trickling down my face……… my life is now complete.
Shocker: after the update my voicemail count went from zero to 40 dating back to the day I bought the 3GS.
Nice fail AT&T;. You suck.
Downloaded it and hard booted phone. No camera icon. Here in NY/NJ
works instantly in the detroit area, photos and videos
Only one successful message sent in NYC. All other attempts have failed. I knew it.
The updated carrier setting I have is 5.5 on both my phones here at home.
Works here in the ATL, however—it now only lets you send messages to 10 contacts at once…
Everything is all good!
> works instantly in the detroit area, photos and videos
is there anyone else living in detroit to mms to?
Both pic and vid MMS is working great in S. Fla.
If you go to Settings/general/Network/Cellular Data/MMS and Next to APN, type in wap.cingular it should work.
I did the little hack a couple weeks ago and it works fine…
does MMS work on original iPhone too?
‘Working fine in Piedmont North Carolina–even over EDGE.
MMS does NOT work on 1st Gen iPhones (they use the AT&T;Edge network ONLY and MMS Requires iPhones running on the 3G Network…
Too bad the 5 MMS messages I sent this morning were never received by the recipients. 🙁 Good going, AT&T;!
downloaded it, restarted the phone, it’s sitting there with the white apple on the screen for the past five minutes….
this isn’t good
