A September launch of Apple’s rumored “MacBook touch” or “iTablet” has been reiterated by Chinese newspaper Apple Daily which is reporting that Wintek has nabbed the contract for the Multi-Touch™ device’s display, with Dynapack ITC will be supplying the battery.
Apple Daily mentions a 10-inch display and 3G connectivity and says the launch of the device, described as a “large iPod” is scheduled on or around same time period (September) as Apple’s annual iPod refresh.
According to the paper, iPod assembler Hon Hai Precision (Foxconn) has reportedly inked the deal to assemble Apple’s device.
