Apple’s downloads page is currently showing “iWork ’09” at #5 on the Top Downloads list on the left-hand side, although the link still goes to “iWork 08.”
Just a typo or…?
See it while it lasts here.
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “Ottawa Mark” for the heads up.]
…Well, that’s one item of Phil’s keynote already – now let’s wait for the goodies inside iWork 09…
It says Iwork ’08 when I look at the page, so it must have been a typo, or your imagining things…
that said, I expect an iWork ’09 release today.
And just as fast as it was put there… it was taken down.
Yeah, typo. As of 1553 GMT it’s now showing ’08
oh, and yes, I see the screenshot… I am a graphics professional, so I don’t trust screenshots, photographs, etc.
Just saying…
iWork is going web based. iPhone and iTouch editable. PC too. Game changer.
@ Eric
Actually, I had only sent MDN the link; it’s MDN’s own screenshot before it was fixed on the site. Obviously, somebody had jumped the gun, though the simple fact that iWork is being updated is hardly earth-shattering news.
I looked at the page before they closed the online apple store. It did say iWork ’09, but the link still went to iWork ’08.
Well, iWork ’09 could hardly be on the top downloads list if it hasn’t even been announced yet!
I’m downloading the trail version as right this minute
I am downloading iwork 09 for a demo right now!

@Mystical. Let us know when you get to the end of the ‘trail’. You could get to the end of the ‘trial’ also.
Downloaded and installed the trial software
