  1. Isn’t it necessary some extensive testings at FCC for a new phone to come out? Isn’t that why Apple had to announce the original iPhone with months before it was sold?
If there’s a new iPhone nano, won’t we see some clues on the FCC site?
Will someone shed some light on this, please?

  2. I believe someone in China is already selling the “iPhone Nano”. A no-name cellphone maker has ripped off Apple and is selling a full-size iPhone (with SD-card slot), as well as a ‘Nano’ size device. It even has an Apple logo on the back of it, and can play WMA, WMV and has a FM tuner. In other words, it uses the generic chipset that virtually every no-name MP3 player from China uses.

These devices are confined withing the borders of China and we won’t likely see them anywhere outside. These are no different than the fake Fendi handbags sold from a cardboard box on Canal Street in New York (Chinatown, for non-Newyorkers).

  3. @ Demon:
Vaja cases are pretty much the swankiest cases on the market and take a long time to make. They are custom leather and fit like a glove – I would recommend them to anyone willing to fork up the high price tag.
Maybe this pre-order is to see if there will be a demand for their case on a new phone.

“These (illegal) devices are (only sold) withing [sic] the borders of (lawless) China and we won’t likely see (someone with the guts to sell them) anywhere (where they could be arrested). …”

Does not change the fact that few have ever seen a Vaja cases and even fewer people own a case by Vaja. They could sell Diamond studded cases and custom $600.00 laptop bags but, it does not mean it’s not a ploy to drive traffic to their site. The fact is Free advertising is free advertising. I didn’t say they were a bad company of even made a bad product, But, let’s face it taking per-orders for an iPhone that Apple has not announced and has even denied, Is a ploy to drive traffic to the site and game News Aggregators Blogs for Free Advertising.

I even own a Zegari Barcelona Messenger Laptop bag for my Macbook Pro. I in fact found Zegari from an advertising link on MDN. I like it so much and it’s made so well I’m not going out on a limb to say, Zegari bags are the BEST Macbook Pro (laptop) bag on the market at any price.

Actually, I carry my PowerBook in a Zoon bag. Hey, I had it before the inferior personal audio player came out. Their website is

I have an understanding with my local Apple store – it’s the only Zoon allowed on the premises.
