“Reports that President-Elect Barack Obama is actually a Microsoft Zune user have been crushed last night by one of Obama’s spokesmen. ‘Not true, the President-Elect uses an iPod,’ addressed the spokesman to Philadelphia City Paper – Neal Santos’ accusations,” Daniel Ionescu reports for PC World.
“It all started with a blog entry on the Philadelphia’s newspaper website of Santos saying that Obama ‘hopped on the machine next to me [at the gym] and broke a mean sweat while reading a copy of USA Today and listening to his Zune,'” Ionescu reports. “During the campaign, Obama and now Vice-President-Elect Joe Biden, both claimed to use Apple computers and music players.”
Ionescu reports, “Now, with Obama denying of actually having a Zune, Neil Santos is saying, ‘I don’t know for sure that it was his.'”

Oil is currently trading at around $40 a barrel (source: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12400801/).
That being said, please explain to me how that’s back tracking? It’s not. $40 < $80 a barrel therefore no need for a windfall tax, currently.

Yeah, I never saw any articles about Obama in mainstream newspapers. I haven’t seen any articles about the black members of Obama’s cabinet that he has been nominating. I have never seen an article about Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, black athletes, black entertainers, black authors or commentators in mainstream newspapers either. Also, there is no such thing as a black editor or editorial columns by black authors. And, the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Editorial Board isn’t almost entirely black either. It seems that you are soooo correct in your statement.
Had they seen a Zune, his Secret Service bodyguards would have seized it and wrestled it to the ground. He uses Apple, and will stay overnight at the Steve Jobs household sometime.

Well, let’s see it through: For the last 2 president mandats, USA was almost to be considered as “out of the human realm”. Since a lot of american could prove that “Think different” made some sens to them by electing a different president, the rest of the world could again consider USA as a smart enogh partner to support the exchange value of the dollar for a while yet.
It’s hard for someone who’s completely drawned in a system to actually see the lacks of it… Most of bad things happened ONLY because G.W.Bush and his (religious and nationalist fanatic) confederates poored enough oil on the fire to make it all come out in a general rejection and gave way to a complete anti-americanism all around the globe.
Bill Clinton was, at least, a good cigar smoker… An d with Al Gore, the two towers would just yet be up right where they were!
While we are all rambling WAY off-topic, let’s take a break from the incessant Bama Gush to consider:
1) 9-11 was the SECOND attack on the world trade center, and guess whose response was obviously impotent,
2) We were kept safe for 7 years after 9-11 by the administration led by the idiot who beat Ann Richards, Al Gore AND John Kerry, and
