  1. I couldn’t right click on any item on the Download section under iTunes 8. Also, couldn’t check off ‘Part of a compilation’ box for multiple song’s ‘Get Info’ window.
Both were available and very useful to me on 7.x.y
I was hoping someone at Apple QA would finally catch them and fix them on the next revision.
Until then, not snappy in my book.

    Oh well…

  2. Can’t shut my Mac down after numerous sleep sessions because iTunes won’t let it! I have to hold down the power button to shut down.

    Will this update solve it?

    Not happy Jan!

  3. @ Fergman –

Check your hard drive. Something is causing iTunes to hang – not enough RAM or HD issues with it’s directory – not being able to save the directory file beofre shutting down.

Check the HD with Disk Utility, FSCK , or Diskwarrior and make sure it is okay beofre trying to fix it.

Fixing software on a Bad drive or one with a bad directory will only make things worse.

  4. Dear Apple Fans,

iTunes saved us from Microsoft. But Apple treated iTunes like garbage by removing popular options from its Preferences menu. And that’s what Apple is — the company of refuse. So bow down to Apple if you want. Bow to Apple. Bow to the Apple of slime, the Apple of filth, the Apple of putrescence. Boo! Boo! Rubbish! Filth! Slime! Muck! Boo! Boo!! Boo!!!

    Sincerely Yours,
    Ancient Booer
