  1. Indeed.

I’ve always thought that was a bummer that the artwork didn’t show up on the big screen and all that my Mini is hooked up to streaming all the music from a “Source” being the iTunes library on a “big” computer.

Does anyone know if this is the case with an Apple TV that’s streaming, not sync’d, to another iTunes library?

While I too would like to have ability to see preview art on remote macs, “fixing” a feature that does not, nor ever has existed seems like a silly thing to ask.

Perhaps the discussion boards would be more productive (and seem less whiny) if, instead, they were to ask Apple to add this ability to their software?

  3. Artwork streaming works on Apple TV but NOT Macs used for TV output – though it USE to work on these Macs when running 10.4 (may still work but I’ve updated all to 10.5). This was a feature present from day one with Front Row but has been lost in 10.5.

    Mark
