Well….. Did they sell any today?
Saw it in Salt Lake City Apple Store today…..not for sale though. An employee had one, very slick.

“The point is this: Steve Jobs has cajones. Big ones.”
Actually, I think you mean to say that Steve has big ‘cojones’; ‘cajones’ means ‘boxes’…
Scratch the ‘boxes’ comment–meant to say big ‘drawers’…
So, I was driving thru NYC last night, 2:30am, and stopped at the 5th Ave store. Not my first time driving by, but my first time stopping in. They were cleaning the glass, and it really shone! Anyhow, I went downstairs and worked my way around to the MBA, and it’s beautiful; however, by the time I handled it, you could tell it had already been manhandled by 10,000 people! It had more scratches than my 4 yr old 12″ AluPB. The good thing is that it’s very firm, as firm as my 12″, which feels like a billet of steel. Presumably that stiffness is due to the curving of the two pieces of aluminum. Very smart. 3 lbs feels feathery light, and it’s so slim.
People don’t realize but my 12″ is 1.18″ thick. Since all the docs and portfolios in my briefcase are letter to legal size, having a small footprint 12″ AluPB doesn’t take up less space, in fact it takes up more than my 15″ TiPB, since it’s fatter. The MBA will take less space because it’s the same size as all the docs and portfolios in my brief, already, and yet, it’s only a sliver thick. When people realize this, they’ll rethink what formfactor, a small notebook should take. I’m smitten.
Just a question of time until those unboxing photos are posted. Mmmm!
Then some sadist will post a dissection.
Zuno feels queasy.
