I was only pointing out the plainly written details of the obvious to the more than a few here who seem to imagine that TISATAAFL — and they should consider the cost before entering. I’m pretty certain that liberals don’t love terrorists, but we don’t believe that the erosion of civil liberties, the prosecution of illegal wars based on phoney intelligence or the illegal rendition of suspects without due process into the custody of those who perform outsourced torture (thus providing the veneer that the US does not engage in such practices) is necessarily the lesser of two evils.
In any case, surely the people who enable the terrorists are the real ‘terrorist-lovers’; if you accept that argument, isn’t the administration of Ronald Reagan (through Casey’s CIA) more of a lover of terrorists than any so-called ‘liberal’ regime.
After all, wasn’t it the CIA under the Reagan/Bush admin that funded and trained the Mujahaddin that metastasised into Al Quaeda. As an aside, you seem to be living under the mistaken idea that the UK has recently had an election: too bad that your knowledge of foreign politics is so slim, but hardly surprising – Gordon Brown was appointed as Prime Minister without a contest as no other candidate was able to muster sufficient seconds to their nomination to force a full ballot among members of the UK’s Labour Party.
You also seem to be living under the the delusion that the Daily Mail is a newspaper: many Britons would disagree with you on that fact which is indicated by the fact that the Editor-In-Chief was once voted as the person who most people would like to see marooned on a desert island, Dacre was once quoted as saying something along the lines of “the ideal Daily Mail story is one that leaves the reader either frightened or angry” – a principle that seems to be shared by many US media outlets. What’s more notable about that situation is the fact that it will mark the end of the Republican party. You guys aren’t all that much a big tent party but you do have 2 important groups that definitely see things differently, you have the economic guys wanting low taxes and an end to government programs and the religious guys who don’t want abortion or gay marriage. Those 2 groups have existed with some friction and a Guiliani nomination would finally bring that friction to fever pitch and the Republican party would end in its current form. The future is bright.

The same people here that call all liberals America haters are the same ones offering up help or receiving help on issues related to Apple.
