Apple never had any kind of promotions (from what I can remember) when I was in school. Good to see them wooing the kids with promised of free iPods.
I believe the children are the future. Let them buy and let them lead the way. Go forth and become the next generation of IT Pros while you spread the news about Mac superiority.

Yes, but M$ quickly recovered from their mistake by offering a free postage paid shipping container to put your Zune in and they would dispose of it free of charge if you purchase Vista.
Apple is trying to move inventory of ‘old’ iPods before the new ones are released for Christmas.

That’s right, they did the same last year. So end of September – early October is the time to expect the new iPods.
I am a student who thinks this is very good idea, but I already have a 8GB Nano lol, so the desicion for me now is do,
do I buy a mac now or wait until leopard comes out in oct as this will be the first time me owning a mac making the switch.
Just still thinking it over and can’t come to a decision
