Apple debuts ‘Major in Mac’ promo: College students, buy a Mac, get a free iPod nano

Apple today launched its “Major in Mac” back-to-school promotion which offers a US$199 rebate on any iPod nano or iPod video with the purchase of any qualified iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro, or MacBook Pro.

The “Major in Mac” promotion runs through September 16, 2007.

So pick up a Mac with your education discount before September 16 and get a free iPod nano. It’ll be your first brilliant decision of the school year. – Apple Inc.

Apple offers the choice of a snail-mail-in rebate or, for faster processing, an online rebate form.

    Yes, but M$ quickly recovered from their mistake by offering a free postage paid shipping container to put your Zune in and they would dispose of it free of charge if you purchase Vista.

  3. I am a student who thinks this is very good idea, but I already have a 8GB Nano lol, so the desicion for me now is do,
    do I buy a mac now or wait until leopard comes out in oct as this will be the first time me owning a mac making the switch.

    Just still thinking it over and can’t come to a decision
