My first also. Had to cut a hole in the battery compartment to dangle a SCSI port out the back to use my first hard disk. $600 for a 20 meg HD. WoW! I’ll never use all that space.
OS on internal 400K floppy and Pagemaker on external floppy. Some room left for small file. Files were small because you could only do one page at a time on PM ver 1.
Mr. Reeee: That’s admirable but I suspect a TRUE Apple fan would have one of Woz’s blue boxes for free long distance or at least remember his Dial-a-Joke service. That’s going back.

I got my first Mac (PowerBook G4 Titanium) in 2001, rode the train until I saw that they were locking the doors and would never let me off the train. I escaped and haven’t used a Mac since.
