I wonder if you can plug USB speakers into the USB port and control volume that way.

USB Port is mentioned only twice. Once in the diagram, and defined on the next page, “For service and diagnostics.”
What up with that?
I heard the USB port is reserved for Zune squirting only. Like the bulls-eye in the Civic Center urinals….
I have a USB port on my cable box that is only used for diagnostics.
Would it be possible for Belkin, Griffen and others to create an HDMI to RCA/SCART converter for using the aTV with normal televisions (albeit limited resolution)?
I wonder if you can hook up the apple TV to an Airport Extreme base station and the USB external drive you can hang off the back?
