Apple releases WWDC 2007 agenda; 100 sessions and labs planned

Details are now available on more than 100 sessions and labs planned for Apple’s upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2007 scheduled for June 11-15 in San Francisco. Packed with in-depth information, expert guidance from Apple engineers, and hands-on learning, this year’s conference is all about helping you take full advantage of the exciting new possibilities of Mac OS X Leopard.

• Presentation sessions: Get the technical information you need to take advantage of the new technologies in Leopard.
• Hands-on sessions: Bring your laptop to code along in practical “how-to” sessions with Apple engineers.
• Hands-on labs: Work one-on-one with Apple engineers to refine your code and answer your questions.

  1. A few cool sessions on something new called “Podcast Producer” – seems to be tied to Leopard Server, but could be cool.

    Didn’t see any multi-touch stuff, sorry. Still, I bet it will be covered in the keynote, if only tangentially.

  2. Yea I guess I’m not buying any toys from Apple until summer.

    Lepoard and Octo-core Mac Pro’s, iPhones and iTV’s. BlueRay and new video games.

    It all comes together, then I will know what’s up.

    Right now I’ll enjoy my PS3 and Razor.

    I had to reload it off the OSX disc. I couldn’t find it the first time, and I was afraid it was going to load the entire OS, then I saw the ‘Options’ button.

    of course, you have to load Disc 1 and then restart. Be sure to back up your Quicken Data files first, although I had no problems.

    Also, it helps if you have Applecare so you can bore a nice person while you ‘figure this out’…
