“Apple Computer Taiwan opened Taiwan’s first large-scale Apple retail store in Taipei on December 23, while Sony will establish a large retail shop inside a new large department store scheduled to open early next year, according to industry sources,” Ruby Huang and Adam Hwang report for DigiTimes.
“The new Apple Computer store… has three floors with a total floor space of about 397 square meters (4,270 square feet)… Unlike retail outlets set up and operated by Taiwan-based sales agents, the new store represents Apple Computer’s brand image in Taiwan,” Huang and Hwang report.
