Man proposes marriage via Apple Store Fifth Avenue time-lapse movie (with images)

Apple Computer is posting time-lapse movies of the first 24 hours of the exterior of their newly-opened Apple Store Fifth Avenue. At approximately 5:40am this morning, an ingenious man stood before the camera and – shades of Apple CEO Jobs’ fav Bob Dylan’s groundbreaking video for “Subterranean Homesick Blues” – held simple messages long enough to be easily read in the time-lapse footage:

The cards read “Uschi Lang. I love you. Will you marry me?”

  1. Share the joy, you’ve got to click on the appropriate time slot – 5:00 am…and that dude is there…there is no conspiracy…

That line was packed even up to 2am!!! I wonder if Bill Gates opened up a Winblows store what the outcome would be…?

  2. Who can hate marriage? Geez…

This obviously wasn’t done with the intent of having her see it as it was happening. What do you want to bet that later he called her up — or was with her on the computer — and had her watch that particular hour of video?

I’m sure it was a lot of fun.

  3. How many of you sourpusses wish you had thought of it first… hey, the guy got some attention, and probably gets the girl. It has nothing to do with whether you, or I, would want to get the same girl or be with this guy. I’m sure a fair number of you (those that actually have a girl to propose to… yeah, right…) wouldn’t actually want the rest of us to see her face, or yours. So, just get a life, and leave the guy alone. I think what he did was cooler than cool. It’s preserved for posterity now.
