Apple MacBook Pro unboxing pics

“I got my MacBook Pro today from a local reseller in Philadelphia. He called me to say that they got five MacBook Pro 2.0GHz models in stock today and that four we’re already spoken for. ‘Do you want the last one?’ You know what my answer was,” Jason D. O’Grady writes for ZDNet.

Many photos, including the MacBook Pro compared to the PowerBook G4 here.

  1. Who cares about the pics???????
We’ve all seen what the MacBook Looks like (Looks like the powerbook).

I want to know HOW IT WORKS, HOW FAST IS IT????
Is the speed vastly different from the powerbook?
How does it perform compared to other PC notebooks???????

So far the only MacBook articles I’ve seen are the “OH BOY I GOT MY POWERBOOK..HERE’s THE PICTURES”

Some performance content would be helpful in the articles as well ya’ know!

  2. You won’t know about battery life until the MBP’s are used for a few charge/discharge cycles, only then a laptop battery reaches it’s capacity!

You’ll have to wait and see the reports…or buy one yourself ;o)

    MDN word ‘shown’…
In time all will be shown!

  3. Now that the real fun is over we get to see how fast his system is overrun by viruses, malware, and trojan horses. I suspect that he will be trading in his overpriced, 400% slower system for a Dell or Lenovo system by the end of next month.

  4. Mac Realist, when does your comedy tour start?

Wow, I havn’t felt this inclined to buy a new Mac since I laid eyes on the G5. Only I didn’t have enough money for it, but that was alright, because then WWDC happened and I decided to wait, so I opted for a mini to tide me over- gee whiz, I’m sure glad I waited.

Now I do have the money to get one of these- only I’m going to wait til after Apple’s 30th Birthday to get something….

MW: Apple’s Intel offerings have already increased my obsession with Macs!

  5. You guys are lame. Salivating over pics of someone opening the box of a MacBook. You probably are jerking off to the pics right now! That is not Mac News to me, no more than someone picking up their new car and posting pics of it on the net. Lame. Next! P.S. happy jerking!

  6. Guys, guys, guys

Mac Realist is a troll (look up Wikipedia).

There are only two things you can do with them:
    (a) MDN mods them out
    (b) if (a) can’t be done, then we simply ignore them. Eventually the troll gets bored and goes somewhere else.

NEVER reply to a troll it just encorages them.
