  1. Just installed QuickTime 7.0.4 and opened a short film clip I made about a year ago–and which looked great within 7.0.3.

Now that clip runs with blurred artifacts around the edges of most objects to the point that it is completely UNWATCHABLE.

I’ve repaired permissions and done all that kind of thing, to no avail. The clip still looks HORRIBLE on the 7.0.4 player and GREAT on the 7.0.3 (different Mac)!

Do we need 10.4.4 to complete the QT 7.0.4 package or something?

  2. I am sick and tired of these updates from Apple which require me to purchase a new fucking Quicktime Pro key. I purchased production suite and then had to fork out $30 for a new key after updating to Quicktime 7. Now — a month later — they want another $30 fucking dollars??!!

This is BS, and Apple knows it. They should make you buy a key once and then it is registered until the next major upgrade — Pro keys should last longer than a month, damnit.

  3. Hey Rasterbater

Maybe you need to get your little cousin to start reading the postings to you. It says if upgrading from QuickTime 5 or 6 ! If you already have any version of 7 there is no charge.

MW: turn as in “whose turn is it to read ot Rasterbater today?”
