update?
BUG FIXES??!! The damn thing only has like six commands it responds to; which one was causing the problem???
I read a story of the Shuffle not responding when connected to the USB port for some people
It would be friggin great if Apple would provide that damn little security option to all the iPods that have contacts and calendars.
There’s no excuse not to provide this one application to the masses. It would be better not to include contact sync with zero security.
What is up their assholes not to do this??

You know you can choose to turn of the contact and calendar syncing if you want. Go into the iPod preferences in iTunes and disable it.
Otherwise, chill out dude and keep your iPod in a secure place. If you really wanted the iPod for your contacts/calendars, you should have bought a PDA/cell phone. Apple makes it clear, the main purpose of the iPod is for music, everything else is just extra.
Woop-de-Frickin-Do……………………
*yawns*
I don’t need to sign my name do I? It’s right up there ^^^^
From recent blustering, you would think Apple would have included free porn with this update to their potential cyber-smut toy (all other players and devices being impotential, of course). Just say no to FUD.
My son has a shuffle, and he has problems pausing songs bought from the iTMS. When he hits pause and then play it goes back to the beginning of the song or skips to the next one. Other aac files are fine though. I hope this fixes that.
Congrats Ronnie, you missed the point of what mugwump was asking.
But way to make sure you let everyone know Apple is right and the customer is being unreasonable.
The shuffle is a piece of crap. Went thru 5 that never got past orange and green blinking lights. Never was able to load any music. Luckily Apple Store gave me a refund.
Shuffles have serious problems. Just check out Apple discussions. Maybe this will fix em.
I call BS on you Shuffles suck big time… never had a single issue with my 1st gen Shuffle. Except that it like to play music.
MDJ:
Go to Apples’s discussions, there’s thousands who think Shuffles suck.
Maybe it’s firmware, maybe it’s new manufacturing but there is a major problem with connecting it to a computer and I won’t buy another one.
