Apple today released iPhoto 5.0.4 Update which is recommended for all customers using iPhoto 5.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.2 and 5.0.3.
iPhoto 5.0.4 addresses an issue with browsing photos that have been auto-rotated by a camera.
The Update is available via Software Update and as a standalone download (39.2MB).

Magic Word of the day: Before as in before there was OS X
This is hardly ‘news’. Come on MDN. The PC users are laughing at us.
My Mom has been having problems with the auto add to iPhoto from slideshow function. Hope this fixes it altho it doesn’t sound like it will.
I may try out

and see if they can help her since it hard for me to do from Japan.
MUCH FASTER
Still no support for the RAW format used in many of the newer cameras including my Rebel XT. Apple is really letting us down with iPhoto.
Short, there’s no standard for the RAW format. Canon raw and Fuji raw are different.
“The PC users are laughing at us.”
Stop worrying wtf PC users think. It amazes me how many people give a crap about this.
Our system is better. Who cares what they think.
I am aware the every RAW format is different. In fact other Nikon and Canon RAW formats ARE supported by iPhoto. Apple even sells the Rebel XT. It can be done and is a major issue in the Apple Discussions. I’m just saying that 4 updates later it is still not supported and that is very disappointing.
