In between downloading songs from the Canadian iTMS, did the update… No problems
eerrr…. FIRST POST!
ooh yeah!
Works just fine as do 99.9% of OS X updates…
Shortly after installing this update, my next door neighbor called and complained that her vibrator was no longer working. Be very careful with this one.
I like it
I’m theloniusMac’s other neighbour. My vibrator is working just fine –update away…
Updated two servers, 8 work stations…all fine….Apple makes updates so simple and so flawless…their only downside is it kills my uptimes…
Yeh I know what u mean Mr. Bill. Uptime RULES!
I just want them to post a solution to the Bind DNS problem. It is most noticable in Safari when a site your visiting fails the first time around and then succeeds with a refresh/retry.
Pete…I get the same thing. I found a “work-around” somewhere online…we run an internal forwarding DNS server using OSX Server – so our NAT private network resolves correctly.
Anyway…the fix for this seems to be adding the DNS server’s IP twice in the preference pane – ie (if your DNS server IP is 10.10.10.2)
10.10.10.2
10.10.10.2
It fixes it for the most part…unless you hit a site which is obscure.

Mr Bill
I applied the work around you mentioned. Works great so far!
Thanks for sharing that, its going to make life a little easier…
After installing this update, I was not able to log in to my computer. It froze at the last boot process message, “Creating login window” or somesuch. I had to reinstall from my Cds. That’s so windows, man…
Everything looks OK after installing the update, but moans can be heard from neighboring houses.
Funny, I had the opposite happen. I installed the update and now my iPod vibrates. Is is safe to use the iPod as a vibrator?
