“Back in May, tech leaders such as John Chambers, chief executive officer of Cisco Systems Inc., and Michael Dell, chairman of Dell Inc., threw their support behind George W. Bush. John Kerry has industry backing of his own, including that of Apple Computer Inc.

One Guy From the Bronx
If you are just going to remain obtuse and refuse to understand how the UN works, then what would be the point in me expanding on my answer?
What’s the matter OGFtB? Looking up the word, “obtuse”?
You’re proving the point that you (liberals)can’t and won’t answer the question.
WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME FOR THE UN TO VOTE TO USE FORCE AGAINST IRAN AND NORTH KOREA WITHOUT US INVOLVEMENT?????? WE’RE STILL WAITING…..
I’ll answer your question (further) if you answer this: How does the UN Security Council pass a resolution?
Aside: I think it’s funny how easy it is to drive right wingers to all caps. How many question marks are you going to string together next time?
OGFtB, I have four words for you: Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors.
Umm I answered that like 20 posts ago, dumbass.
Not to mention I’ve posed many questions to the conservatives that they have failed to answer. How about this one (I’m really curious):
What were Gearoge Bush’s qualifications to be elected president four years ago? (and no, his daddy being president doesn’t count as an answer)
Not one liberal has said at point x the UN, without the US, should vote to use force against Iran and North Korea.
If you think you gave a point x type answer already paste it into your next post.
The question proves you know nothing of how the UN works.
When the USA and it’s corporate leaders threaten smaller and less powerful countries constantly, is it any wonder that North Korea and Iran want nuclear weapons? Is there any link to these two countries (along with Cuba) not allowing American businesses the freedom to steal their natural assets and exploit their people to them being labelled as evil?
Burma and Zimbabwe are considered evil, but we don’t see the posters above whipping themselves into a frenzy about them. China is also evil, but they have opened their borders to business, and everything gets forgiven. Why are you not ranting about these other countries? Has Dubya not been told what to tell you all what to say?
Ok, fine I’ll restate the point. The UN should use force against Iran (North Korea would be very similar) after every effort to solve the problems with diplomacy has failed. Pretty simple, no?
Ok, now that I answered your question TWICE, how about you answering mine:
What were Gearoge Bush’s qualifications to be elected president four years ago? (and no, his daddy being president doesn’t count as an answer)
ANSWER IT! (spoken like a true angry conservative)
George can’t even come up with an answer to the question: “What 3 mistakes have you made during your presidency?”
Asked about the environment during the last debate “uhhhh… off-road diesel engines… uhhh… hydrogen-generated cars… uhhhhh… I’ve been a good steward of the environment” total deer in the headlights look the entire time. I guess the transmitter under his jacket must have taken a dive. And you right-wingers approve of this lying, spoiled brat doofus… OK, I guess incompetents don’t recognize incompetence.
When is the point “after every effort to solve the problems with diplomacy has failed.”?
Define that point.
Well, see there, Bronx man, in order to define that point you’d have to go into a myriad of efforts which would be unique to each situation to accurately answer your question. I don’t have a) the time, b) the information (which I am sure much of it is classified), and c) the respect to go into that with you. For one, you have not answered any of my questions, showing your own double standard. If you wanna tell me your plan for how the USA should deal with these problems that would be surprising.
Gspank,
Spoken like a true liberal. You have never directly answered the question about at exactly what point military action should be used against Iran and North Korea. You liberals would never use force. You won’t give an answer because you know that the UN is a corrupt organization that is useless. The problem is that if you owned up to that fact you prove George Bush right and Kerry wrong.
Way to spin your loaded question, idiot. You just want the UN to start wars, don’t you? That’s the whole point of “security” for you, isn’t it? Blowing shit up and killing more innocent people than targets, right?
Why don’t you complain how the UN did nothing with Afghanistan? Oh yeah, that’s right, because they did something. You fucking nitwit. Just because you’re some dumbass bigot who thinks liberal equal pacifist doesn’t mean that’s how it is.
Nitwit, hmm, that’s the pot calling the kettle black.
Guess what fword, the UN wouldn’t have done a god damn thing without the US forcing it to. You know it, we all know it. Without the US the Taleban would still be training terrorists there.
Ah the UN, my own private slush fund and forum to bash the US in front of the rest of the world. Je t’aime la UN!
Spot on effwerd. Bronx, in case you didn’t notice, you just got killed. The truth is you use the word “liberal” like a KKK member uses the word “nigger”. And oh yeah, here’s a history lesson for you – the USA supported the Taliban, and played a big part in them coming to power. Didn’t you watch Rambo 3 where he joins the Taliban? You seam like a person who would’ve watched that flick and loved every minute of it.
Bronxman, without the US Afghanistan would be another united ex-Communist country along the lines of Bulgaria. Your country fucks up other countries, because people like you see the USA as the only country with a valid reason to exist.
As such, you should learn to expect more 9/11s, because if you take away the rights of other peoples and creeds around the planet to legitimately defend themselves using the same WMDs you yourselves stockpile, they will turn to underhand methods as the only alternative.
Or you and your kind could grow up and realise that just because people aren’t like you, it doesn’t make them wrong.
And “J’aime l’ONU” is how Jacques Chirac would say it, as surprisingly he speaks French fluently.
Who cares how Jacques Chirac would say it!
