Apple.com traffic jumps 593 percent following Pepsi Super Bowl commercial

“Apple iTunes, which advertised that it was partnering with Pepsi to give away 100 million free songs [saw] a 593 percent increase to its site. Percentage increases are determined by taking the average of the four Sundays leading to the Super Bowl and comparing that number with traffic on Super Bowl Sunday,” Reuters reports.

Erectile dysfunction drug Cialis was the number one gainer, as traffic to Cialis.com scored an 1,868 percent increase for the day. Apple.com’s increase was the second largest measured.

  1. I am very disappointed that NONE of the local stores (grocery, convenience, gas stations, etc.) have any of these Pepsi bottles. These should have rolled out weeks AHEAD of the Super Bowl. Now, people will have no memory of the Super Bowl ad, and just stare at the encrypted codes under the yellow caps and wonder “What’s this?!”

Pepsi and Apple blew $$Millions on the, now, worthless ad.

  2. Hahahaha I loved the part about the erectile dysfunction drug coming in first.

Apple Computers are so sexy that they eliminate any need for erectile dysfunction drugs.
