Apple unveils world’s fastest personal computer in India

Apple “on Wednesday unveiled in New Delhi the world’s fastest personal computer — Power Mac G5 — with a 64-bit desktop processor accompanied by higher memory expansion up to 8 giga byte. ‘The new Power Mac G5 combines the world’s first 64-bit desktop processor, one giga hertz front-side bus, up to eight GB of memory,’ Richard A Ng, product marketing manager, Asia Pacific, Apple said in New Delhi. ‘Our 64-bit offering Power Mac G5 will be useful for the creative professionals — print publishers, photoshop users, designers, 2-D and 3-D, video customers for editing and capturing,’ he said, and added that the product had great utility for Bollywood [India’s film production industry],” reports PTI.
