WWDC Steve Jobs’ Keynote Reader feedback:
Okay – I cannot take it anymore!!! This is “Keynote-Mania!” Less than three hours to go now…
What a beautiful marketing plan Apple has executed. The whole fscking computer world is going to be watching Steve today!
…powerbooks, powerbooks, powerbooks…let the chants begin!!!
yeehaa!can’t wait too excited!what in the magic box?
DIE BILL DIE!
Does the PeeCee world know what’s about to hit them? How will they respond when they can’t even rig the benchmarks to make Wintel win? I can;t wait to watch CNCB types try to figure out 64-bits! “B-b-but, the Pentium 4 is 3.2GHz, how can a 2GHz G5 be so much fatser?”
Jan – they have no idea what’s about to happen.
The Apple products sons sehr teuers
Go, Steve!!!
Comon Steve!!! Lets kick windows’ ass!!!
Dammit this WWDC03 will be revolutionary!!!
HAIL APPLE!!!!!!!
What if they don’t release G5s. What if it’s just an updated 15″ PB, Panther Preview and that’s it. What do we do then?
…and the crowd awaits … tension is building… and its 35 minutes to go!
I work at Intel – I’ll let you all know right now that there are a LOT of people here who are VERY interested in this announcement. Not because of the “competition”, but because these folks LOVE MACS!!!! Our entire department uses them, and – although they will not admit it – the IT department is almost exclusively Macs.
All i want to know is if they are updating those powerbooks, and not just the 15″ update but the 17″ key board & processor… im pushing it i know.
I want to see a 64-bit G5 running beta 64-bit 10.3 cranking out alpha 64-bit Photoshop filters at a rate that makes the neighbouring Operton and Itanium/XP-64 systems wince, and the president of Adobe on his knees weeping to Steve over and over “…we’ll never go to the dark side again…”
Of course, I want a lot of things, but at least it helps to pass the time to 3am Australian Eastern Standard time!
Now Macs will be the only PC that is truly “IBM compatable”
Muhahahahahahahahaa!!!
I’ve allowed myself to get caught up in this hype too many times before only to be disappointed. I don;t think anything new will be released except maybe some speed bumps and some software announcments. If there was G5 coming we would have a live video stream of the keynote. Please tell me I’m wrong!!
Man I’ve never seen so much hype generated over a product anouncement. Reminds me of all the hullaballoo prior to the Segway anouncement. Let’s hope there’s more to this than that debacle, otherwise there’s going to be some very dissapointed Mac fans…
Yes why not a live keynote Quicktime broadcast?
I know what you mean Jontahan and Rob. I relly hope this really big…as in newsworthy to more than just us poor Mac users. Afterall, Intel announced a speed bump this morning of up to 3.2Ghz, and M$ announced a new mobile version of Windoze. And we are waiting so patiently for a shiny new box that MAY be as fast as Intel?! I really do hope hope this is BIG to more than just us mac freaks.
Having bought a 12″ POWERBOOK back in February, new hardware is only a curiosity with me. However, I think Panther is going to be a killer OS, along with improvements to the peripheral applications.
they’ve just taken the apple uk store down…
apple store is being update now!
10 minutes! Hell yeah, go kick Microsoft and Intel’s ass, Apple!

No offense to you, Wakko. I had no idea so many people used Macs there, that’s cool.

The box’s design is only so-and-so, IMHO.
hey wakko,
say it isn’t so! lol. the guys at microsoft would be fired on the spot for leaking such information.
