iCalShare has announced the release of a new iCalShare Sherlock channel. Sherlock is a handy OSX app that allows you to search for things like movie showtimes, yellow page listings, eBay auctions, and more–without ever touching a web browser. And now, with the iCalShare Sherlock channel, Sherlock can search iCalShare’s calendar directory for you as well. Just tell Sherlock what you’re looking for, hit return, and you’ll get a list of matching calendars (including title, category, and author info for each calendar). Double-click on a calendar to open that calendar’s page on iCalShare, or just select the calendar and you’ll get a mini-summary with a description, subscribe link, and other info. Moe info and link to add the iCalShare channel to Sherlock here.
