“A reader has sent us a link to a picture of what could be Apple’s rumoured giant plasma displays. It reminds recent rumours claiming that Apple will release 42″ and 50″ plasma displays during MacWorld Expo,” macosXrumors.com reports. “The picture is small and seems to have been taken with a mobile phone. This could be a fake of course but we would hate ourselves if it was real and not published.”

It just looks like someone enlarged some images of an iMac and did a little creative editiing.
MDN magic word although, as in, although I hope not.
I still do not believe it.
Looks fake, wait it looks real. Oh well. This is my first first post.
Fake … here is the original photo:

You know, if this rumor turns out to be true, that will mean Powerpage.org was right. While I still doubt his other rumor, I think it may give him a bit more credibility when looking back on that FireWire rumor (which I still think is bogus)
That site must be getting hammered now, i can’t get it to load for me.
I take back my statment. Thanks Derrick

What a stupid GAME – why would anyone go to the trouble of photoshopping this unlikely rumor anyway? Just to get attention from rumor sites? please…
You can’t take it back – at least unless you can bribe or cajole the moderator to delete your post(s)
I’m glad they are fake. The white on those look cheap in my opinion. I don’t know how Apple/Ives make white look so good.
As far as this rumor goes, it seems a bit strange to me, but it is kind of in Apple’s style to take control of the entire experience and make it amazing for the consumer.
I hope there will be cooler things tomorrow than a TV. But I’ll take what I can get and be glad.
Nice buns though, fake or not.
On another note, I heard that brand of TV is supposed to be really cheap, but very good quality.
Phew! Glad it’s a fake — looked too deeply ordinaire to make me part with my dosh!
The Bikini-babes seemed out of place for an Apple product.
Totally bogus. I’d bet a hundred dollars Apple is NOT coming out with a Plasma TV.
A device that can drive a plasma display, maybe.
There are too many other areas where they could differentiate and INNOVATE.
looks like it is an iMac edited. And why would the tv with the black stand not all be black? duh, there are no black iMac;s….. bad photo editor…
I hope its fake, they look crappy.
Good catch Derrick?
All he did was grab a link from any one of the forums that figured this out well before his post.
That photo was shown to be faked almost an hour and a half earlier on the AppleInsider forums, and I doubt that was the first place to figure it out either.
