“If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on the cool space gray accessories sold with iMac Pro, the latest Apple Store update has good news for you,” Guilherme Rambo reports for 9to5Mac.
“Apple is now selling the space gray accessories separately,” Rambo reports.
“The space gray Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad is available for US$149, that’s a $20 premium when compared to the Silver model,” Rambo reports. “The space gray Apple Magic Mouse can be purchased for US$99, the Magic Trackpad is US$149.”

MacDailyNews Take: Then, just a little gray spray paint for your silver iMac and… voilà!
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “David G.” for the heads up.]
I was not expecting the accessories price difference with the Grey Mac Pro
Of course they will cost more. It takes more work to make these.
Not with the accessories, its just a different colour. However if the accessories are themselves different say a more specialized keyboard then the price difference should reflect this. However the track pad / Mouse is the same as the other macs apart from the grey colour. I suppose Apple wants the grey to be premium and the price reflects this
Again…To make the ordinary keyboard to that color takes more time and work. That is why it costs more.
Ordered the TrackPad in Space Gray, having just about given up and buying a ColorWare Trackpad for $200. The V1 Trackpad is starting to show EOL flakiness, so it was time.
When I ordered yesterday the Apple Store showed Friday, but the FedEx Tracking says today. We will see.
It should look good next to my Logitech K811 Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard.
Apple, the important things…. Color. UGH
Would be interested in a backlit Touch Bar Magic Keyboard. For something supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread they have not promoted the TB at all.
Wow, another Pipeline genius marketing coup, right? What a crass dumbass
It is beautiful. And overpriced. Suckers will be suckers, go for it.
So you will buy one for the left hand one for the right. Right?
