    1. I just did a search under free filter, and it showed up, but when I tried to DL it I got the error “being modified, cannot download” … Hum… It must be going back to pay.

  1. Was free in CA when story first posted 90 minutes or so ago, as I went immediately to app store but I was in gym on 3G and download was too big. Came home to wi-fi and it was $4.99 again. I fear it was either a very limited offer for x number of downloads that MDN pushed to a quick end or it was temporary mistake.

  2. I recommend the app stores iPhone app called AppsGonefree. I believe it is a free app. Anyway it alerts you in iOS notifications when it is released which is usually daily and is a great way to pick up some free iPhone or iPad or Universal apps that are free for the day, a few days or longer. It notified me of Snapseed Universal this morning and I got it for free. Just checked AppsGonefree and it said it had expired. Mostly .99 game apps are listed, but occasionally some Productivity and Utility apps are posted.

Anyway, I believe it is a free app. Not sure if it works for app stores of other countries if there is a difference or that matters. But a nice way to be alerted to a few gems of apps that you can get or free.

    I recommend checking it out.

  3. I picked it up for free about a month or so ago the first time I read about it, and it’s really pretty nice, even for 5 bucks… It could use some improvements, such as having an image browser function more like the native photo app that comes with the iPad, but for adjusting photos it works really well, and is much faster than I would have expected even on an original iPad 1. I’ll definitely recommend it as a cool app.

  4. According to the dev’s site, they are rolling out a version for OS X via the Mac App Store. I guess $19.99 is their hoped for target price. I’m afraid they won’t see a nickel from me. After watching the video, I already have an app that does similar things.

  5. It was free for a full day before MDN posted it.
I purchased the app when it was first released and it is the only photo edit app I now use ( I’ve purchased about 8-10 other edit apps over the years)

The app is worth the $5.
But I do see it o on sale from time to time. Keep an eye out if you can’t afford the $5.
