“While preparing for the iPad launch next week and searching for clues on what it might look like, we stumbled across the actual iPad feed for the app store,” App Annie reports.
“Even more interesting is that there are already some apps listed in the iPad-specific top ranking charts for top paid, free, and grossing apps,” App Annie reports. “Among the apps listed are ‘HD’ versions of Labyrinth 2 and Flight Control.”

Anyone know if iPad accessories r going to be ready at Apple retail stores at launch? Neither the store nor Apple can answer the question!
Most accessories will be available mid April or later
GREAT to see that Pangea Software games like Bugdom 2, Cro-Mag Rally and Otto-Matic might be coming to the iPad, though they seem a bit pricy at $10 apiece. (So I’ll only buy 1 or 2 instead of all of them initially.) Thinking about price points, I’ve probably been spoiled by all the free and $1 games on the iPhone. Hopefully developers won’t have to overcome too much of that attitude to be able to make iPad apps worth their while.
This looks fake, anyone could have taken what they saw in the demos of the store and made it look like whatever they wanted, based on that info yesterday about what apps will be “HD”
My online banking shows a hit to my debit card this morning from Apple Online for the cost of shipping on my standard iPad dock. They must be getting ready to send some of the accessories out.
I’m hopeful that the case and keyboard dock will be available in store on 4/3. If not, I’ve got them both ordered online already, and Apple is showing a delivery date of 4/20 for both of them.
I too was a little surprised by the higher prices on some of these APPs. Developers are probably figuring that there will be a lot of pent up demand initially at launch. I would think that eventually lack of demand due to the higher price, and increased competition will have to bring some of these prices down.
@TLG This is not fake. Apple provides open feeds for the app store for iPhones, iTunes, and iPod. This feed is just a new another version for the iPad.
FYI, We’ve added a screenshot of the latest top iPad-specific apps, you can check it out in the original post: http://www.appannie.com/blog/ipad-app-store-screenshots/
