I wish Apple would tell you a little more about these updates and what they do. All they say about this one is it improves “graphics stability.”
Has anyone tried it yet?
Apple has dictated that graphics stability is all you need to know and guess what, its all you need to know.

people will pull it apart later today…
My PC is so much zippier now!
Oh wait…
hopefully this fixes my freezing problems. I have had to cold boot my iMac once a week since i got it.
My Thinkpad doesn’t freeze like this. In fact, I don’t think it has EVER frozen or hung or Blue-screened… much to the chagrin of McZealots.
I may love Apple, but I disdain zealots.
my quips are much less snappier :T
hey applepi, no one cares you have a think(same)pad
@ ApplePi
I definitely recommend against using the MacBook Pro upgrade on your iMac.
As for your ThinkPad: Congratulations, you’re one of the lucky ones. (But, sorry. I don’t feeled chagrined at all by your good fortune.) My son worked in Tech Support at a major university that required ThinkPads – his data showed a 1 in 4 failure rate out of the box. Maye that’s why they now say “Lenovo”…
