The latest versions have been less and less “snappy” over the past year or two. (I have not installed 26.4.1 on any of my Macs yet, but they’re all running 26.4.) I’ve noticed that launching non Apple apps take longer (not a lot longer, but definitely less “snappy”). Opening large files that first require an app to launch is definitely much, much less “snappy”! Hell, I find myself twice or three times double clicking on a file because the launch & open sequence is taking so long.
Apple needs to do a another Snow Leopard!
