On Friday, China’s Vice Commerce Minister Li Chenggang met with Apple’s Chief Operating Officer Sabih Khan to discuss the company’s operations in China, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Commerce on Monday.

In the meeting, Li said China will provide greater opportunities to foreign companies including Apple and he hoped Apple would continue to work with Chinese partners and develop the Chinese market, according to the statement.
