After Bloomberg News‘ Mark Gurman reported over the weekend that Johny Srouji, who oversees Apple’s chip division, had discussed leaving the company, Srouji subsequently told staff in a memo that he’s staying with the Cupertino Colossus.

Mark Gurman for Bloomberg News:

“I know you’ve been reading all kind of rumors and speculations about my future at Apple, and I feel that you need to hear from me directly,” he said in a memo to his division. “I am proud of the amazing Technologies we all build across Displays, Cameras, Sensors, Silicon, Batteries, and a very wide set of technologies, across all of Apple Products. Together we enable the best products in the world. I love my team, and I love my job at Apple, and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.”

MacDailyNews Take: Define “soon.” Just kidding! It sounds like Srouji is staying put. Hopefully, he was nicely compensated for doing so!

  1. The person who wrote the original rumor about him thinking to leave is a liar and probably being paid by a hedge fund or influencer to write those lies to create selling in AAPL. They should be thrown in jail.
