Apple on Friday released the first public beta of macOS Tahoe 26.2 to testers. The update follows the developer beta by one day.

Enrolled public beta testers can install it via the Software Update pane in System Settings after signing up on Apple’s beta website.

The update adds due-time alarms to the Reminders app, refreshes the News app’s design, and introduces new features in Podcasts.

Currently available only to developers and public beta testers, macOS Tahoe 26.2 is expected to launch publicly around mid-December based on prior release patterns.
