On Tuesday, September 9th at its “Awe Dropping” media event, Apple will host its major annual product launch, unveiling not only the next-generation iPhone lineup, but also new Apple Watches and other peripherals as part of an autumn product blitz.

For the first time in half a decade, Apple will be introducing major design upgrades for the iPhone. The latest high-end versions, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, will have new backs that give a fresh look to the camera areas. And an all-new model, which is expected to be called the iPhone 17 Air, will have an ultrathin body.
The devices will kick off a three-year period of new iPhone designs. Still to come: a foldable phone that will be announced next year and a glassy 20th anniversary iPhone slated for 2027.
