Apple Sports update adds broadcast info and more

With iOS 18 and watchOS 11, the Apple Sports app will offer Live Activities, delivering live scores and play-by-play at a quick glance to a user’s iPhone and Apple Watch Lock Screens.

Apple on Monday updated its Apple Sports app for iPhone, introducing several new features like enhanced navigation, broadcast details for U.S. national games, and expanded support for soccer leagues.

Here are the release notes for version 2.4 of Apple Sports:

• The Apple Sports soccer lineup keeps getting bigger with the FA Cup, EFL Championship, and League Cup.

• Navigating between your favorites is even faster now. Swipe left or right to browse all of the leagues and teams you follow.

• Tune in to all the national games with broadcast information now available on game pages.
