Apple has debuted a new ad – “Flock” – that highlights the robust security features built directly into Safari, Apple’s web browser. While some browsers may leave you feeling exposed (think pesky security cameras following you!), Safari takes a stand for your privacy.

Your browsing is being watched. Safari helps stop it. Using industry-leading privacy protection technology, including Intelligent Tracking Prevention — Safari protects your privacy. – Apple Inc.

In this visually stunning ad, iPhone users effortlessly browse the web, free from the anxieties of online tracking. With a simple switch to Safari, these intrusive cameras are neutralized, symbolizing Apple’s commitment to your online safety. The campaign tagline, “Privacy. That’s iPhone,” reinforces this core value.

Apple’s dedication to user privacy extends beyond the ad. Billboards and digital displays across major cities showcase this commitment, empowering users to make informed choices about their online experience.

  1. WOW! THAT is freakin’ BRILLIANT and accomplishes EVERYTHING it sets out to!

I’d put that ad up there close to the 1984 TV commercial that changed the world. Really, one of the best I’ve seen come out of Apple in ages. Definitely deserves a Clio nomination.

OH, and I just looked up the Ad Agency, and check this out!

“In 1984, TBWA helped launch Apple’s first Macintosh personal computer with the iconic “1984” commercial. In 1997, TBWA once again disrupted traditional advertising with the “Think Different” campaign. As the Apple brand grew, the need for a confidential, creative incubator, with a dedicated team focused solely on game-changing work, became more evident. In 2006, TBWA\Media Arts Lab was born.”

Well done, TBWA/Media Arts Lab. Geez, that was money well spent!
