Apple employees at a Short Hills, New Jersey retail store have voted against joining a union. The vote was 57-41 against joining the Communication Workers of America (CWA) union in an election that ended on Saturday.

It was the first union election at an Apple store since 2022, when workers at a pair of stores in Maryland and Oklahoma voted to unionize. Since then, the CWA has withdrawn petitions to hold elections at several stores…
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment. In a statement last month responding to a petition to hold the election at the Short Hills store, the company said it provided “top tier” pay and benefits to retail workers.

Charlie get perspective…please don’t compare, well paid retail staff who work in an latte infused, air conditioned, cozy environment to people who died due to lack of safety equipment, hazardous conditions, exhaustion due to 12-18 hour days mines or on pre-OSHA labor hours.

Unions are evil. You’re remembering a time a long time ago when they did do good. Today they evil communist hustlers. They shove paid agitators into well working businesses in an attempt to racketeer money and destroy the business.
All of them are evil. And any talking about ‘harsh’ conditions at an apple store are abject scum. Every last one that was pushing for them at apple stores are paid agitators and should be blackballed from all businesses for life.
